Currently, touristic travel is unfortunately not allowed in Germany. Business travel as well as travel for other reasons (not leisure related) is allowed. You can find more information about the travel regulations here: https://www.hamburg.de/faq-reisen/
I have a reservation but I am not sure if I should come. How does the hotel team take care of my health at sylc.?
Please be assured, that our top priority is to guarantee our guests as well as our team a healty and safe stay at our hotel. That's why we have taken several measures into action in order to let you feel comfortable during your stay with us no matter where you will spend your time at our campus. I have received a voucher as replacement for my cancelled booking. How can I redeem my voucher?
First of all, we would like to thank you for accepting a voucher from us as a replacement for your actual booking and we are already looking forward to welcome you soon at our hotel. In order to redeem your voucher, please contact our team from reservation directly by using the following e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the following phone number +49 (0)40 53 75 13 - 3120. Please prepare yourself to state us your arrival and departue date as well as your voucher number.
I would like to cancel my reservation. How do I do that:
Your cancellation options depend on your cancellation conditions and the booking method you have chosen. You can see your cancellation terms on your booking confirmation. Please cancel your room within the time periods indicated on it. If you have decided on a non-cancelable rate at the time of booking, please contact us at email@example.com.

If you made your reservation via booking.com, Expedia, a travel agency or any other booking platform, please contact these booking platforms directly as they are responsible for taking care of your cancellations.

In order to be able to guarantee all of you a safe and healthy stay at our hotel, the operation of our restaurant EATERY as well as of our LIBRARY Bar is limited due to the ongoing pandemic.
EATERY - Good Food Good Mood
Breakfast - Start your day right!
Our breakfast buffet is served from Monday - Friday, 06:30 am - 9:00 am and on weekends as well as bank holidays we got you covered with our GOOD MORNING BOX - everything you need in order to have a good start into the day! You can already add your breakfast option while booking your stay or add it to your stay at arrival. Please note, that wearing a mask is mandatory - except while sitting at the table. Please use the sanitizers at the entrance provided by us to disinfect your hands. We also have some gloves for you.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we had to adjust our breakfast offering. Our team is wearing a mask and gloves the whole time and that's why you don't have to worry about the offered breakfast at all. Our tables at our breakfast areas are being cleaned several times a day and there is enough space for all.
Lunch - Enjoy a relaxed lunch date for TAKE AWAY!
Whether meat or veggie - there is something for everyone! From 12:00 to 14:00, you can just take your tray to the buffet and enjoy the food - currently for takeaway only. And if you can’t make it in time for lunch, don’t worry! You’ll always find fresh sandwiches, salads and soups from the EATERY in our ALMOST EVERYTHING SHOP. Our hotel guests are allowed to eat in the restaurant. You can have a look at the current lunch offering here: https://www.sylc.de/gastronomie/eatery/. All safety meausres, that have been mentioned already, are also taken into action at lunch, of course.
LIBRARY Bar - your after worl living room! - CLOSED AT THE MOMENT!
Our LIBRARY Bar is currently closed. That does not mean, that our team at the bar is not diligently working on some new offerings - quite the contrary! Theay are using the time off very creatively in order to come up with some new cocktail and drink offerings for you. So stay tuned and have already a look at our current bar menu in order to get a feeling of what could expect you in the very near future: https://www.sylc.de/gastronomie/library-bar/

Ab wann dürfen Meetings & Veranstaltungen durchgeführt werden?
Seit dem 2. November sind Veranstaltungen bis 50 Personen in geschlossenen Räumen sowie bis 100 Personen im Freien unter Einhaltung der geltenden Hygiene- und Abstandsregeln wieder erlaubt, aber der Alkoholverzehr ist während der Veranstaltungen untersagt.
Dürfen private Feiern bei Euch statt finden?
Seit dem 2. November 2020 sind Veranstaltungen, die der Unterhaltung dienen verboten. Alle weiteren privaten Veranstaltungen sind unter Einhaltung von Hygiene- und Abstandsregeln erlaubt.
