Safety measures at sylc.

In order to guarantee a healthy & safe stay to all of our guests and our team, we are taking certain precautions. You can read more information about it here:

• Please always maintain at least a 1,5 metre distance between yourself and others
• We disinfect our surfaces, devices & all public areas several times daily
• Our team & you are washing their hands on a regular basis
• At sylc. you are paying by EC card, credit card or Apple Pay
• Please use our provided disinfectant at any time in order to follow a good hygiene

Touristic travel is allowed again!

Arrival from abroad:
If you are travelling to Germany from abroad, the regulations for arrivals from high incidence areas and virus variant areas valid at the time of entry apply. Current information can be found, for example, on the websites of the Robert Koch Institute or the Federal Ministry of Health.

Regardless of the current regulations, we will not accommodate guests from virus variant areas. In such a case we reserve the right to cancel the booking!

I have a reservation but I am not sure if I should come. How does the hotel team take care of my health at sylc.?

Please be assured, that our top priority is to guarantee our guests as well as our team a healty and safe stay at our hotel. That's why we have taken several measures into action in order to let you feel comfortable during your stay with us no matter where you will spend your time at our campus. I have received a voucher as replacement for my cancelled booking. How can I redeem my voucher?

First of all, we would like to thank you for accepting a voucher from us as a replacement for your actual booking and we are already looking forward to welcome you soon at our hotel. In order to redeem your voucher, please contact our team from reservation directly by using the following e-mail reservation@sylc.de or by calling the following phone number +49 (0)40 53 75 13 - 3120. Please prepare yourself to state us your arrival and departue date as well as your voucher number.

I would like to cancel my reservation. How do I do that:

Your cancellation options depend on your cancellation conditions and the booking method you have chosen. You can see your cancellation terms on your booking confirmation. Please cancel your room within the time periods indicated on it. If you have decided on a non-cancelable rate at the time of booking, please contact us at reservation@sylc.de.

If you made your reservation via booking.com, Expedia, a travel agency or any other booking platform, please contact these booking platforms directly as they are responsible for taking care of your cancellations.

EATERY - Good Food Good Mood

Please be aware that you always need to wear a FFP2-mask in all public areas!

Breakfast - Start your day right!

Our breakfast buffet is served from Monday - Friday, 06:30 am - 10:00 am and on the weekends from 7:00 am - 11:00 am. You can already add your breakfast option while booking your stay or add it to your stay at arrival. Please use the sanitizers at the entrance provided by us to disinfect your hands. We also have some gloves for you.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we had to adjust our breakfast offering. Our team is wearing a mask and gloves the whole time and that's why you don't have to worry about the offered breakfast at all. Our tables at our breakfast areas are being cleaned several times a day and there is enough space for all.

Lunch - Enjoy a relaxed lunch date for TAKE AWAY!

Whether meat or veggie - there is something for everyone! From 12:00 to 14:00, you can just take your tray to the buffet and enjoy the food. And if you can’t make it in time for lunch, don’t worry! You’ll always find fresh sandwiches, salads and soups from the EATERY in our ALMOST EVERYTHING SHOP. You can have a look at the current lunch offering here: https://www.sylc.de/gastronomie/eatery/. All safety meausres, that have been mentioned already, are also taken into action at lunch, of course.

LIBRARY Bar - your after worl living room!

Our LIBRARY Bar is opening it's doors every Friday and Saturday from 4pm until midnight (please note that the bar remains closed within the week). Can my business trip take place?

What safety precautions & hygiene concepts are implemented in the meeting areas?

• A minimum distance between all participants can be offered
• Catering snacks will be provided directly by our team in the respective meeting room & consumed in the meeting room
• Disinfectant is available in the entrance area and can also be provided in the respective meeting rooms upon request.
• Our team wears a respiratory protection mask throughout & in the gastronomic area all our employees also wear gloves
